Jessie BailsJessie Bails, a progressive hair designer, received her cosmetology license from the Valley Beauty School in Marietta, Ohio in 1985. She was employed at Raphael's for two years and Shear Delight for two years before coming to Attractions in 1989. Her education background includes various seminars with Goldwell, Paul Mitchell, Wella, Nioxin, Sexy Hair Concepts and Thermafuse. She has also attended the Annual Mid American Beauty Classic, which is held in Columbus, Ohio, and the Goldwell Trend Zoom in Cancun, Mexico. Jessie specializes not only in cutting and styling but also in clipper cutting, coloring and air brush spray tanning. |

Pam BryanPam Bryan, an outgoing hair designer, acquired her cosmetology license in 1981 from Tri-County Vocational School in Nelsonville. She was one of the original stylists to work at Attractions, which was named The Parlor when the salon originated. Her resume includes advanced training seminars with Kenneth Anders and Company, Goldwell and Wella Hair color, Paul Mitchell, Thermafuse, and Nioxin. Pam excels at all aspects of hair design, but specializes in permanent waves and long hair cutting.

Beverly DixonBeverly Dixon, an accommodating hair designer, acquired her cosmetology license from Tri-County Joint Vocational School in 1976 and has been in the hair industry for 33 years. During this time, she was employed with Your Father's Mustache, Steppes Hair Happening and Reliable Beauty Supply (for one year as a distributor). Beverly joined the Attractions staff in 1980 and has been motivated to perfect her cutting and styling technique through advanced education with Paul Mitchell, Wella, Thermafuse, Nioxin, and Tigi. She has also attended the Mid American Beauty Classic in Columbus and Cleveland and the Goldwell color class in Nashville, Tennessee to advance her coloring procedures.

Sue HawkSue Hawk has been giving her clients the perfect style since receiving her cosmetology license in 1973 from Tri-County Joint Vocational School. Fresh out of school she attained a management position with Regis Hair Salon, where she won the Directors Award for managers. She stays on top of the latest technique and fashions through continuing education, including coloring sessions with Goldwell, Clairol, Wella, Nexxus, and Paul Mitchell, as well as hands-on training with texture cutting classes. Sue also has attended the Goldwell Trend Zoom seminar which was held in Cancun, Mexico. She enjoys not only hair styling, but also facials and air brush spray tanning.

Terri JohnsonTerri Johnson, an accomplished hair designer, received her Managing Cosmetology license from Nationwide Beauty Academy of Columbus Ohio in 1993, and has been employed with Attractions ever since. She focuses on educational classes to stay current on trend cutting and hair coloring. Terri has attended classes with Wella and Redkin Hair Color, OPI Nails, Nioxin, and Bio Ionics Hair Straightening System. She also attended the Goldwell International Hair Expo show in Italy and Las Vegas, and for two years attended the Business Management and Motivational Hair Seminars held on the Carnival Cruise Line, with world renowned educators. |

Andrea LeedyAndrea Leedy, an artistic hair designer, receieved her cosmetology license from the Tri-County Cosmetology Career Center in 2008, and then receivedadvanced training as an assistant before coming to Attractions. She also had classes in Paul Mitchell hair coloring, John Sahag, the Columbus Beauty Classic and the Cincinnati Hair Show. Andrea wants to incorporate platform artistry to her resume in the future. She has extensive skill in the craft of dry hair cutting, revolutionary coloring techniques and makeup.

Phyllis McClellandPhyllis McClelland, a conscientious hair stylist, received her cosmetology license from the Southern Beauty School of Athens/Huntington. She was the first hairstylist that started at Attractions, which was named The Parlor when the salon originated in 1980. Phyllis has given thirty years of loyal service to Attractions and her clientelle. She has continued to improve her expertise by attending numerous seminars sponsored by Goldwell, Kenra, Wella, Thermafuse, and Nioxin. She has also attended various hair shows and classes to remain up-to-date with the most current technologies in creative hair cutting, dimensional color and perming.

Deana McKinleyDeana McKinley, a trendy hair stylist, obtained her cosmetology license from the Valley Beauty School in Marietta, Ohio in 1992. For the past eighteen years she has been with Attractions offering her clients a style tailored especially for them. Deana offers world class service in the beauty industry from attending classes with Goldwell, Paul Mitchell, Kenra, Iso, Wella, Nioxin, and Thermafuse. She also attended the Goldwell Trend Zoom Hair Color Seminar in Las Vegas for the new and upcoming color line to advance her color weaving and color enhancement techniques. |

Kiara StephensKiara Stephens received her cosmetology license from the Fayette Beauty Academy in 2007 and went to work for J.C. Penny's Hair Salon until moving to Athens. Kiara's family moved here after her father, Ronald Stephens, was appointed to the Department Chair of African American Studies at Ohio University. Kiara is also attending Ohio University majoring in Political Science. To further her cosmetology education she attended advanced hair cutting classes with Bronner Brothers. She also has extensive training in formal hair styling, relaxers and hair extensions.

Roger WellsRoger Wells, a personable hair designer, received his cosmetology license from the Valley Beauty School of Marietta, Ohio in 1987. He also attained a business degree from Fairmont State College of Fairmont, West Virginia in 1984. Roger has given 22 years of excellent service to Attractions' clients. During these years he attended numerous seminars with highly qualified educators with Kenneth Anders and Company, Goldwell, Wella, Nioxin, Nexxus, and Thermafuse, to perfect his skills in creative color, artistic haircutting and texture perming. Roger's passion outside the salon is raising money for charities.

Jen WrightJen Wright, an enthusiastic hair stylist, received her cosmetology license from the Tri-County Career Center. After graduating, she was employed with Attractions as an assistant for four months to advance her cosmetology skills and has now been a talented hair designer here for many years. Jen has trained with top educators from Wella and Goldwell in Santa Monica, California broadening her creative coloring and razor cutting techniques. She has also attended advanced classes in correctional color and color retention. Jen excels not only in hair styling, but enjoys manicures, body and facial waxing as well.

Joan PalmerJoan Palmer, salon manager and head receptionist began her career in the hair industry at Your Father's Mustache Salon in 1980 as a receptionist. She moved to Attractions in 1984 as a receptionist and was appointed salon manager in 1987. During her 24 years as manager she has completed several managerial development classes with Zig Ziglar and Geno Stampora as well as product knowledge classes with Goldwell, Wella, Iso, Kenra, Tigi, Thermafuse, and Nioxin. Joan also has attended numerous hair shows in Las Vegas, Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati to stay current with state of the art services and product choices for the salon. For the past 20 years she has been a member of the Advisory Committee of Cosmetology at the Tri-County Career Center in Nelsonville. Joan's main goal for Attractions is to employ only the most talented, creative hair designers and technicians to offer only world class services to our most valued clientele.
